Luxurious understatement and depth is achieved on the walls through a process which
marries 3D relief with tranlucent pearlized sweeps of subtle color. I personally developed
this technique and I am certain no one else has taken it to this level.
This client also commissioned me to paint the framed oil hanging in this dining room. It is based on a painting
by Dutch artist Jan Van Huysum, which hangs in the Hermitage. I have given it a contemporary
update with addition of the owners cat painted into the scene.
